In the last couple of weeks , every time i go on e-bay my computer throws a wobbly. A small window opens with a security warning  listing  "rapportinj_x64" as trying to do something . Does anyone have any idea how i can rid my pc of this curse.

TIA

I'm going to take a wild jump here and say it sounds like you might bank with someone like Santander who use Trusteer Rapport software as an extra security layer (the "rapport" bit in your OP makes me think this).  That software also protects your passwords on secure sites that require passwords, and sometimes throws a wobbler if you use the same password on multiple sites.

If you have a box to the right of the URL address window in your browser, with a white arrow pointing left and a green or grey background, that's Trusteer Rapport.  Click on the box and go to Open Console.  Then go to Trusted Websites and see if eBay is in there or not, and have a play from there.  If all else fails, turn Trusteee Rapport off and try to get into eBay.

Lots of assumptions and conclusions there, but it might help - I hope!

No idea, try writing down the exact error message and typing it into google.

What browser are you using? Internet Explorer? Try using Firefox or Opera instead
