I'm sure that Mark won't mind ne addind to his for sale thread.

Most if the build on this car was completed by myself and Mark at my house in Cambridge.

The build followed more or less the same path as my own Westy which came a year or so later.

Since then Mark has developed the car adding fuel injection to a moderatly tuned 1.8 Zetec now giving close on 200BHP.

The motor sports a ported head, 285 cams on verniers, ARP rod bolts, APR flywheel bolts, heavy duty clutch and light flywheel.

The origional 4 speed 'box has been upgraded to a 5 speed Quaife SCCR clubmam item.

This drives through a Quaife ATB diff.

The chassis and engine has been setup by Troy Northampton Motorsport.

To say that the car has wanted for nothing is not an understatement.

It is in really great condition (the pics just don't do it justice) it goes like stink and handles fantastically.

IMHO the car is a real bargin at this price, I don't think you'll find better at the asking price.

Good luck with the sale Mark.

Had a few guys in europe interested now, why Europe and not the uk anyone?

cos these cars cost a lot more on the continent.... But depending on where theyre from, they should worry about registering the car should they buy it... Not so easy (unless your english living abroad). Try not to get involved with foreign sales, unless they transfer money... Cos they might end up saying they want it, and then at last minute back out, cos they find out info ( such as registering) they didnt already know...

Hi Tim, that's a bit of a downer on a prospestive sale  ???

I and many others have sold abroad.

For me it was a painless sale, Sam Cooke has also sold abroad (more than once) and has hassle free sales.

Once the money is in your account it cannot be removed without your permission unless it's prooved to be a fradulant transfer.

The only issue may be with a COC for the car but in many Euro countrys registration can happen without it.

Thats why I put unless they transfer money... Cos then youve covered yourself.

Exporting and Re-Registering these type of cars on the continent is extremely difficult. Some countries easier than others..

You can trust my judgement on this, as I live on the continent, and have spent a lot of time looking into it.

Clearly Im not trying to say that foreign buyers are dodgy, or timewasters.... Its just that a lot dont know the ins and outs of re-registering such a car, and could end up wasting your time, should they promise a buy, and then end up cancelling when they find out the real truths...

Just trying to make you aware of potential problemos,I think you get my drift.
