markcoopers Posted August 22, 2011 Posted August 22, 2011 Ideal car for someone wanting to change out of their 1st Westfield into something more focused with all the upgrading done already. Or perhaps someone wanting to get into motorsport, with a professionally set up and engineered reliable car with trailer. Taxed to Feb 2012, MOT'ed to March 2012 This is a well known car in the club, with many members involved in it's build and upgrading. I can not claim to have never driven it in the rain, but I can claim ex engineer built. This is my 6th Westfield over the years, the best and the one I kept the longest. Registered as a 2001 SEW, but is in fact a narrow following a complete rebuild in 2006 2007 with the narrow chassis starting from a stripped and re powder coated chassis. To all intents and purposes it is a 2006/7 car in age terms. Bodywork, chassis, electrics, everything was replaced or refreshed. Floor mounted peddles and strengthened trailing arm mounts, welded in cage mounts and gearbox mounts were all carried out prior to powder coating fresh. i have a massive number of pics to document this. Engine is an 1800 ford silver top zetec, (130 spec) with ARP rod bolts, Pipper 285 cams and verniers, ported head on Jenveys with Omex management. The lot was set up at NMS and makes 192Bhp, goes like a rocket really with no flat spots, from 1500 to 7800rpm Gearbox is a quaife clubman spec type 9 5 speed, with the remote extension fitted, rear diff is a quaife ATB unit. 6kg flywheel and AP uprated clutch cover. RS alloy bellhousing and a Reduction gear starter as well. AVO's all round, 9" drums on the back and grooved/drilled disks with Cat motorsport 4 pot callipers on the front with Mintex pads. Correct spec AP master cylindar for correct brake feel. Revolution 4 spoke classic 13" wheels with Toyo 888 tyres. Chassis was corner weighted and set up by NMS, wet if weighs 545Kgs. Stops and corners well........ With 352bhp/tonne, sprinting gear ratios, professional set up and Geo, it is pretty tasty on both track and road. Car benefits from 6 point Westfield harnesses (new in 2011), plastic seats, powder coated bare alloy panels and dash, mono detachable wheel, alloy rad, alloy rack mounts and a caged gage. Fire extinguisher, omex sequential shift lights, repackable 7" Westfield exhaust, gell type small battery, push start, rear diffuser and under floor neons....yep it has the lot. There is so much I have forgotten, I have lots of pics of the rebuild, and the car before. The car has been upgraded over the years and is I think pretty much a complete package. Just needs a driver with the time. Trailer is a Brian James clubman twin axle it was serviced in 2011 with new breaks and new heavy duty jockey wheel. Size I'll have to get later but I've had a wide track Westfield and a SEIW on the trailer before and it fits in a std garage. pics for trailer to follow as it is currently in use by a mate So £11,500 ono for the lot. £10,500 ono for the car only. Will come with 2 new rear tyres and either a Northampton Motorsport buyers report or the offer of a geo set up with you/your weight in the drivers seat. 07900 817745 for a chat and we can sort pictures etc.

Liam Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 Wos goin' on Not at that stage already surely, and so young . So many cartwheels so few trousers I think a nice LS3 engined Cerbera is called for. Room in the back for the tribe and trackday fun to boot. What more can a man ask for. How much for the Black and Decker workmate mate
markcoopers Posted August 31, 2011 Author Posted August 31, 2011 I think Cerbera is a great idea chap

Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted September 16, 2011 Posted September 16, 2011 had another ride in this motor last week - it has to be said it is truly epic with very rapid acceleration and blinding handling having tried to keep up with it at Cottesmoore earlier in the year I can vouch for its pace (or my lack of driving ability ) is it the best narrow in the world at this price - probably anyway if somebody wants a very fast road toy or a trackday/sprint warrior this car is bang on you never know mark might even chuck in his hand grenade gearstick and the neons
markcoopers Posted September 16, 2011 Author Posted September 16, 2011 Yep one Black and Orange genuine WW2 Pineapple Hand Grenade will be included.......sodding useless to change gear with but looks fun. Also included is a plastic carbon fibre effect bland dash, a spare type 9 5 speed gearbox 2 spare tyres will have 2 new rear tyres (can not in all honestly sell it with only a few mms on them, my moral compass will not let me) Northampton Motorsport buyers report or Northampton geo set up with you/your weight in the car. (so set up for new owner)
