Now SOLD Coscast head with SBD 284/278 hyd profile cams, uprated springs, caps, stainless single piece wasted stem valves, INA followers, vernier pulleys. Omega/SBD 86.25mm pistons, steel rods, ARP head studs/rod/flywheel bolts, cometic head gasket std, SBD ultra lowline dry sump (twin scavenge). NOTE: Block bellhousing flange (LH side) was cracked and will need correctly repaired (tacked in place). Needs new dry sump pan and 3 cam cover bolts. Engine built with all new parts and has only done approx. 3500 miles (mostly road). No flywheel or ancillaries. Invoices for build and parts available. Dyno’d by Dave Walker at Emerald – 231.1bhp/177.7lbft (printout available). New cam belt fitted 300 miles ago. SBD dry sump oil pump included. Fully synthetic 5w/50 always used. This cost approximately £6k to build. Engine will need stripped and the block heated to repair properly. I'd intended to keep this because it's a cracker of an engine (ask any of the Scottish guys who have been behind me). Plan was to put it into my next Westy but I've just bought one with a Duratec, so have decided to sell. PM me for photos and more information. Located in central Scotland. Collection only.
