adam1330 Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Looks great, did the weather hold for you, I know it can be very unpredictable in the mountains? I think Switzerland has some of the best Westfield roads you could hope for! Quote
Tom Frankland (T3OMF) Posted August 10, 2011 Author Posted August 10, 2011 The weather was great, sun every day and the further south we got the hotter it got, as we drove into Monaco it was about 35! We only got rained on once when we were north of Paris on the way back, but we pulled over before and put the hood on, so still stayed dry Then at the next petrol stop we took it back off The St Bernard Pass is ace, plus we stumbled upon another pass driving from Monaco to Millau.... scubajess Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Doing a similar trip starting Monday for two weeks with three mates, Dover-Dunkirk drive to Monaco, Italy, Switzerland across to Germany, trip round the Nurburgring then head for home. Did I mention we're doing it in a 46 years old Mk1. Cortina, recently restored and a 1970's MK1 Escort Mexico again recently restored. No air contitioning, no power steering, no servo! Please no coments on my sanity! Quote

lippydave Posted August 11, 2011 Posted August 11, 2011 Will you b*ggers please stop it.... Posting superb atmospheric shots of road trips......I'm working in an office on the north side of Coventry today..... I certainly don't need any more incentives to get up and leave for some beautiful empty roads somewhere.... Somebody's gonna have to phone my Missus and tell her I'll be back in a week if you lot keep this up.... Quote
