I wondered that, it looks like the old metallic finish Mk2 Cortinas used to when they'd been out in the sun too long.

How long before someone asks if they can buy the car from the insurers and if the engine will fit in a Westy?  Or a *CleggyCough* Porsche?

Condensation.  If you polish/wax your car the moisture will sit on top of the wax exactly like that :)

I saw him out and about on Sunday, in his F1, near Oundle.

He lives just down the road.

The roads last night were pretty slippy though. Rain on what had been dry dusty roads.

surely if money is no object it can go off to maclaren/mercedes and be fixed? thats gutting to see though :down: and hes a really likeable bloke so actually feel sorry for him aswell :(
