stephenh Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Right I still have my bootbox for sale. It is a bit scruffy, but all in one piece, and its cut for the rear stays on the "rac" style Westfield rollbar stays. This is for a Sport 2000, so widebody. £60 plus P & P anybody? Like the topic says, it is gelcoated in Westfield red.
Rab (bombero) Reid Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Is it 'homemade cut' or factory? Does it come complete with the base? Can you post some pics, please.
stephenh Posted June 29, 2011 Author Posted June 29, 2011 It was cut by the factory. Dont know what you mean by the base. It is a one piece bootbox, from Westfield. I cant take pictures, its all wrapped up as it was going to be bought by someone, who then backed out. If someone is seriously interested, and can either collect or can meet up with me at a Speed Series round, then I'll happily unwrap it and you can inspect it "in the flesh", before parting with the "readies". If you want to know what it looks like, they have them in the Westfield Sportscars online store catalogue. It is the wide body one, not the stepped one for long range tank. Only the one in the online catalogue is yellow mine is red, and the one in the cat. hasn't got the cutouts for the rear rollover bar braces, mine has.
Rab (bombero) Reid Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 What a muppet (me), as I was thinking of the bootLID! Sorry..
stephenh Posted July 2, 2011 Author Posted July 2, 2011 Ah, but you only have a boot lid on the FW bodywork SFAIAA. Mine is a traditional shape body, bootbox, to fit widebody. OK Ya?!
Rab (bombero) Reid Posted July 3, 2011 Posted July 3, 2011 Nope, you can get a bootlid for a ZK widebody (example in the same section of the Westfield online catalogue).
