housebeautician Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 I know i am selling mine ( I have to) but i cant believe how many of you guys are selling your cars. Whats going on................!!!! Quote
fatbaldbloke Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 I agree, unprecedented times. Fortunately I've been buying, so it's not all bad... Quote
housebeautician Posted June 26, 2011 Author Posted June 26, 2011 Glad someones ok I see you have a new avatar Pleased for you Quote
fatbaldbloke Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 Aah, the avatar is a little misleading. I used to have my Zetec Westie on the avatar but sold it "oop north" and when the new owner, Adam, started using it as his avatar I thought I ought to change it. The GT40 is sadly not mine, just a photo I took at supercar sunday last year. When the new westie arrives I'll sort out a more relevant one. Quote
housebeautician Posted June 26, 2011 Author Posted June 26, 2011 What an honest chap you are Must admit i will get another one at a later date. Quote
nikpro Posted June 26, 2011 Posted June 26, 2011 I know i am selling mine ( I have to) but i cant believe how many of you guys are selling your cars. Whats going on................!!!! Probably another poor summer weather wise and everybody's life getting busy (ier)? (Getting harder to justify an expensive garage ornament!) Its a shame Quote
jeff oakley Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Many reasons to be honest, in Bristol a lot of the guys had so manytrck days ruined by wet weather they started to change, so now they have an M3, two Elises and a Noble instead. Add in the prophets of doom and gloom and people are looking to have a bit of rainy day cash incase they lose their job etc. these things go in cycles but you have to look at it long term and realsie that everyone that sells is a new owner that comes along. What we as a club need to do is we ensure that they are welcomed and we do not lose the camaraderi that we have. Quote
juansolo Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Mine's up for sale as it's simply not being used enough. Got the Juno for track, and I'm getting old so I tend to grab the Porker for going out for a jaunt these days. So it sits mostly idle. That being said, I was out yesterday and managed to use a tank of fuel going to holmfirth then snake pass and there abouts. I have a burnt face and my hair looks like Christopher Walkens to prove it. I might not use it often, but it's a blast when I do. Still, to the right buyer for the right money, I'd let it go. I'd rather it was used more than sat doing nowt as it does most of it's life. Quote
Dibby Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 Getting old! Pah! My dad's in his 60s and loves the Megablade. My mum has never put the pedal all the way to the floor but loves the open air'ness of it Quote
