Uncle Fester
Excellent day . Thanks to Tim, Steve and all involved for organising this (including the mini chef serving up burgers, bangers and chicken ) A couple of photos You've got to admire a guy who gives it ten tenths on the first lap of a track he's never seen before! suitable photos may follow Shame about the water pump The poor thing didn't know what it was about to be subjected too. I hope it's recovered from Simon's assault The missus on her 'experience' lap Two wheels on my wagon and it still wasn't quite enough Next time we need a trophy for the most spins in a day!! Roll on next time :-)

Labrat
Had great time too. I think a lot of changes are on the way to make the ride a little sharper, not to mention changing the breather set-up to stop a recurrence of the 'oil-all-over-the-engine-bay' episode. I think a quick release wheel will sort out the steering wheel position, though it didn't feel like it was too far away when I was driving. Being lanky does have its drawbacks Thanks to everyone who organised the event. Luke

Being lanky does have its drawbacks Yes, adding a quick release which involves installing an adaptor to convert from the old Austin/BL Mini splines does indeed bring the steering wheel in closer, about 35mm or so.
