Think you are right. Anyway, seems to me that you need Windows 7 CD/DVD. Do you have this...?

Yes = pop it in your machine and follow instructions

No = need to download it

Or did you buy the MICROSOFT Windows Anytime Upgrade: Windows 7 Home Starter to Home Premium for £55? If so it's not the right thing.

Try Windows 7 upgrade advisor first - this will tell you where you stand and what you may need to do BEFORE upgrading re drivers and hardware etc.

Finally, give me a shout before you chuck it all out the window.

Thanks Andy, will do.

On the any time upgrade page there is only an option to upgrade vista, no icon to enter a product key.

I was sold 7 Home Premium as an upgrade from Vista and told to follw the directions on the box.

I'm beginning to think I've been mis sold the package.

It's a bit annoying as I paid £55.

Chaz.

if you were miss-sold the package, which on further looking seems as though you could have been, then you will be able to return it for a full refund - sale of goods act 1979 (not fit for purpose)

Yep, just had a chat with Andacami, it appears that it's the wrong product.

Thanks for all the comments chaps.

We'll hopefully sort it or return it on Monday.

Chaz.
