mikehreynolds Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Just wanted to say how impressed I was with the helpful advice and attitude of matt and Ivan at procomp, took the car up for new shocks, springs and a full geo setup. They couldn't have been more helpful, knowledgeable and genuine enthusiasts, spent the whole day there (didn't leave until gone 7!) and learnt a great deal about suspension setup etc. The new shocks are awesome and the car feels amazingly planted and compliant, totally recommend a visit if anyone is considering it, (the cheese toasties and plenty of coffee help too!!) cheers guys mike Quote
mikehreynolds Posted May 25, 2011 Author Posted May 25, 2011 Forgot to add a big thanks to Tom for the loan of the trailer, much appreciated and hope the operation on the hand goes ok. Quote
vennscars Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 Another Satisfied customer for Procomp here, had front and back shocks and springs a few months ago , what a difference, like a new car. 1st class customer service. Quote
dave_t Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 I was planning to put up a simliar post, so I hope you don't mind me using this one Mike? I bought my Westie last September, and took it over to Procomp last month for them to check the suspension over and set it up. They provided a fantastic service, which included making up some bespoke lower front wishbones to increase the track width and improve the camber. Matt and Ivan are both extremely knowledgeable guys, who seem more than happy to take the time to talk everything through and explain everything to their customers. The proof in the pudding was my first track day yesterday (at Oulton). The car behaved impeccibly, and the suspension set up gave me real confidence to fully enjoy myself through the bends Quote
John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted May 26, 2011 Posted May 26, 2011 What took you guys so long to work it out? Quote

Ian Podmore Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 There are too many who overlook what for me was the best upgrade ever, even for a 100% road car - proper suspension set up. Safer, much better drive, with better handling on and off the limit. Having all the settings off this fantastic boardroom is not the same as taking the car to experts by a long way. As others have said, it's a great day out as well. You'll learn a lot, get great value for money, and your car will be improved after the visit. Another happy customer. Quote

So hopefully I will be there WIll you be fielding a larger catch tank by then? Quote

uk89camaro Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 holy thread revival!! Another vote here for Procomp. Had an all day suspension set-up, and they even managed to dig me out a pair of previously loved rear dampers as mine were shot. Took it back yesterday for some light engineering work (they have a small workshop, but it seems to have one of everything!), and they did a great job. Quote
