mrjonnie Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 I drive my Westie like I did my sports bikes. Expect no one to have seen you, leave your lights on and overtake as quick as possible. Keep in the car infronts mirrors. Mind you I got T-boned twice and wiped out on a huge diesel spill!! So what do I know!! MrJ and his Cosworth. Quote
brianm Posted December 9, 2007 Posted December 9, 2007 QUOTE I picked up my Westie in April of this year and managed to pick the best day of the summer to do it on! To keep this a 4 seasons post I too picked up my 1st Westy on a gorgeous summers day. I had a 65mileish trip back from Ilkley Moor down to Chesterfield, (why do most Yorks cars migrate sthwards?) I chose the most direct motorway route home which included about 50miles down the M1 under a 12 midday sun directly overhead. After 40 miles without a hat I was toasted, and had to stop at the services through heat exhaustion. You certainly are exposed to the extremes of the British weather Quote
