T.G.G. Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 What a right hook he had , Legend and so nearly beat Clay to become WC A true gent, and now Henry's 'Ammer has finally fallen RIP thanks for some great memories Oh no he did not. It was a left hook and it was delivered in the first fight in June 1963 against Cassius Clay, When he fought Muhammed Ali for the world title 2 years later he was beaten out of sight because Ali then knew how easily he cut and exploited it. He was however a Gent and a boxing legend in my eyes, the same ones that watched that 1963 fight. Quote
John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted May 2, 2011 Posted May 2, 2011 Just heard this on the TV. Very sad - RIP Henry Quote
