Ross Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 For sale is the Westfield I have always wanted unfortunately I cannot get along with the car. After numerous days out I just can’t get used to the bike engine and clutch. Further to this I am looking to travel Europe in the summer and fancy doing so in a little more comfort. This is the third Westfield I have owned and comprises of a great specification as follows: - Westfield Megabusa, Mot’d to October 2011 Taxed to end of January 2012 Engine Rebuilt (2007 less than 1000 miles ago) Extreme Hayabusa Engine 1396cc upgraded engine Internal Crankcase porting Balanced and shot peened conrods Lightened, knife edged polished and balanced crank Gas Flowed Cylinder Head Vernier Cam Sprockets High Compression pistons 84mm Race Camshafts Power Commander Electric water pump Cam chain and cam chain tension recall kit fitted Extreme engines dry sump kit. Large setrab oil cooler Repackable silencer made by precision engineering one od the quietest available for the hayabusa Recently rolling roaded at Z cars 188 BHP@ 11533 rpm / 137 Nm @ 8477 @ the wheels. Although the specification has many race derived parts the car and engine combination is no more difficult to drive than a standard bike engined car but in some aspect’s could be considered better has the torque has increased. The oil has always been changed regularly with a recent major service being completed by Z cars consisting of oil and filter change, spark plugs, fuel filter diff fluid change, chassis optimisation including adding additional braces to increase the strength and rigidity. Within the service the gear linkage was also examined and optimised the clutch was stripped, inspected, cleaned and refitted and the starter motor was also given the same treatment. Drivetrain and Clutch Heavy duty clutch springs fitted New clutch pawls fitted Billet clutch slave cylinder Extreme engines high ratio gearbox fitted. High ratio 3rd and 4th double gear input High ratio 5th gear input High ratio 6th gear input Freelander differential with quaife ATB internals.
