Publication of the times yesterday seemed to be a bit hit and miss, but I found this link on Blatchat this morning with the results of all the runs for those that may be interested :t-up:

Good find Mark.

For anyone curious, the mystery man in 710 was Guy.

Can somebody clarify what happened to the following drivers, I don't see any scores for them:

Derek Hodder

Kevin Jones

Paul Aspden

BTW, Good find Smokey :D

Del/Paul unfortunately went home for an early bath  --  suspected head gasket.

I didn't see Kevin  --  almost sure he wasn't there.

Also unfortunately, I'm 99.9% sure this will have to be ruled a 100 pointer (1.06e ?) as the main straight chicane was in a different place from last year. Evidence:

Thanks for the info David, I've looked at the videos and the chicane is roughly the same place but goes the opposite direction.

I can't rule on this (I only do the scores) one so I'll have to wait until Nick gets back on Wednesday to decide.

I'll hold onto the score for now until it's decided either way!

Cheers

Yes, it goes the other way  --  but my view is primarily influenced by the fact that the chicane was also further down the straight this year. After the big triangular marking on the main straight there are six long grey markings in the centre of the straight. In Smokey's clip the chicane goes to the right at the fourth of these stripes. They are a bit more difficult to see in Chris' vid, but the chicane is definitely at the fifth stripe. Ergo, a bit longer at high velocity on this year's course.

No doubt Nick will decide  ;)

Arguing myself out of a couple of points here   :bangshead:

You might get a bonus point for honesty  :D

It was definately faster on the back straight this year, I needed to use 5th gear :D

The other difference is that the exit from the second chicane places you in a slightly better position on the track for the follwoing left hander.

Late withdrawal due to engine woes, hopefully back playing for Harewood.

Graham was certainly spectacular through there.

Deserved his class win.

No brainer as far as I can see it.

Different course if the chicane is in a different place and given that Smokey recons it was faster on the straight this year, the evidence seems to support Davids argument.

Looks like a good event  :t-up:
