grahame Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Pictures please, spring hangers and chassis sections. Some photos would be very useful, and yes, I do have a good deal of interest here. I'm not into the usual damp, rotting fittings, scratches and cosmetic blemishes that seem of great concern others, more interested in solidity. I'm currently watching the front axle come through the floor of my Transit MK5, simply no chassis left between the axle and freedom... the fuel tank fell out last week. Rear end is better, but joing the two ends..... probably better to haggle over a fresher van with front end damage.
SteveD Posted April 18, 2011 Author Posted April 18, 2011 its mint appart from the bump ,no rot or rust as it says in the add ,needs a clean inside but il do that later this week i have most of the parts to repair it now

Grahame, these don't rust like the smiley face tranny's, no Barney rubble peddling through the floor of these babies Rich
grahame Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 I'm having a really dirty weekend with lots of 3mm plate, so the old tub will (at least) get to Stoneleigh without killing anybody. Still very interested in this van, I'm still hoping for some pictures. I live down in buy-to-die land, so it's all mega miles to view/purchase vehicles blind.
mark.anson Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Grahame Why dont you give Steve a ring at the Winsford body shop, and discuss.
John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 Yep - PM him for his number and speak to Steve direct. It will take you less time and hassle than all that welding you have to do
