Corner Weight Scales

Hi all.

Has any one found any good deals on fifteen inch corner weight scale kits ?

Looking for a set either new or second hand.

Any ideas greatfully recieved.

Hi big lad, get on the bathroom scales like the rest of us do.        

Seriously did the club not have some that were passed around the different areas as and when needed.

I use doctors 200KG scales from argos - work a treat

Unless I can get 4 scales cheaper than these, wouldn't it be as cheap to get someone like NMS to do it (properly  )??

Digital don't work as they auto power off, needs to be mechanical and hence analogue

These dont.

Not the cheapest solution but a lot cheaper that the pucker corner scales.

I tried the 8 x Argos cheap ones, but they're a bit battered at this stage!

Now sorted thanks to The Big Fish !

Regarding the option of taking it to Northampton Motorsport.  If I wanted too I could take it to Trev at Tranzpower who is moments away from my house and is the only person out side of my own team I would trust to set the car up.  However its not a lot of use when changing set ups circuit side.

And fear not I'm more than capable of setting a car up properly thanks

As luck would have it the Cotswolds area are visiting Track Developments tomorrow for a car setup day so I'll be joining them to sort out my corners weights

If you want corner weight scales - buy proper corner weight scales!

They come up for sale on Race Cars direct etc (Or I just sold a set on here).

Don't be a pi**y and get the right tools for the job - it's the only way IMO.

You are either going to use them enough to pay for themselves or go somewhere and have the car set-up anyway (Playskool are close aren't they?)

Not at you Rob,

I just find it a bit amusing that people resort to bathroom scales that have horrendous errors in them anyway - I weigh 4 - 8 kg different on different scales!

They will be working very near their limit on a car and were never designed for that purpose!
