Bluerallye
Hi all, Well the time has come to part from the Westfield for a little while. It has been tremendous fun but workload, impending marriage and little use over past year or two means it's time to let someone else enjoy her It was my first Westy and all i ever wanted from a car really, good on the insurance (140 f/c, 5K mls) and rapid enough for me......sounded great too at 7500rpm Spec as follows:- Westfield SE 1989 Approx. 12,500 recorded miles (all MOTs present and tie-up with this) Narrow bodied Lowline bonnet Finished in VAG Dynamic Blue Carbon effect arch protectors Carbon front cycle arches Carbon whiskers Bootbox (not lidded version) Engine Toyota 4A-GE 1600 16v engine supplied by RAW Engineering OMEX ECU OMEX Rev limiter with soft-cut OMEX programmable shift light 2 x 45mm Dellorto carburettors 4-1 stainless steel manifold into 6” Tech Craft Megaflow silencer DENSO hi capacity alternator 3K oil/filter changes with decent Millers oil since owned (engine had 3K on it when i got it) Drivetrain RAW alloy bellhousing Standard Ford Type 9 box, 5sp (very minor crunch felt in lever from 4th>5th but never got any worse since owned and only noticeable when pressing on) Live axle, open diff. Braking Wilwood 4-pot callipers with Goodridge lines Wilwood twin master cylinders Floor mounted pedal box (clutch & brake) with bias bar adjustment Everything else Quaife 2.2 quick rack RAC Rollbar Fibreglass composite seats with padding LUKE 4 point harnesses with QR buckle Full VDO gauges fuel, oil, water, tacho, speedo with digital odo FIA battery isolation master switch Laserline immobiliser 5 ¾” headlights Spax adjustable shocks 13” Revolution 4 spoke wheels on Yoko A539 Other info Overall the car is in very good condition for an '89 model. The bodywork has been repaired in the past where it carried a pinto so under some light conditions you can see the exhaust exit repair and also where the carb intake was on top of the bonnet. Apart from that the bodywork is in decent shape. There is currently no tax or MOT on the car as it has been in covered up in dry storage for 12 months (outdoor cover also included in sale). At present it would be easier for me if somebody could take without an MOT, not that i doubt it would pass first time, but due to my busy work schedule i would struggle to get it to the nearest MOT station. Saying that i could possibly take an afternoons flexi and get it done if it would assist a sale. Overall i think it is a great car with a good spec at a very honest price and i'll be gutted to see her go as we have had a blast! Any more pics required, please ask. PM or bluerallye@gmail.com if interested! Car currently located fylde coast / Garstang area (storage) 5500 ono

Bluerallye
Thanks! I'm 6' and fit comfrotably. Being a narrow body it's better suited to the athletic types too. I'm just under 13 st if that gives any idea....

Bluerallye
Sh!t......I'd forgot about the damn calipers! Anyway, don't think of it as an MX-5, more a SDV donor in its early years A bit like Robbies Vauxhall Cavalier once was....
