Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 seems like these guys don't belong to the self preservation society seems to be different rules for bikers on a track day? Quote
stewart pickles Posted March 28, 2011 Posted March 28, 2011 we were there cleggy, that was the slow group Quote
Nick FAF Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Great footage, makes me smile with all the great memories of biking. Sold the bike and bought a westfield, with 200bhp on tap it still feels like I have bought a car that I should be driving with pipe and slippers(last bike was a ZX12). Love the westy though Quote
scooby Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 Looks like a typical trackday Overtake with respect and try not to take each others paint work off :) Quote
JeffC Posted March 29, 2011 Posted March 29, 2011 I rode bikes for a few year and was since getting into westys and racing etc its my one regret not doing a trackday on a bike, (never heard of trackdays back then) but after watching that im pleased I didnt , not sure i like the look of your life depending on the nutter sailing down the inside of you into a corner yep its official im old Quote
gixermark Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 looks like a pretty normal bike track day.... Reminds me just how much fun bikes are....... but also just how damn nice Cadwell park is nice post cleggy Quote
pistonbroke Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 what suprised me was how docile the "mountain" seems to be , have they dumbed it down ? Used to visit in the 70's when 1000cc F3 cars used to take air there , quite spectacular , would have thought the modern bikes would be flying Quote
RedditchJay Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 I have instructed at Cadwell and Donny Park on trackdays with bikes and you get such mixed abilities....... at the end of each day we do have 3 scratch races based on levels...... thats fun ! ! ! Quote

pistonbroke Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Aye 6m53secs in even so given the power to weight of a 70's F3 car thought the bikes would be flying much higher , maybe the fact the F3's were faster on the approach through the twisty bits but more likely they've levled it off a bit in the name of safety Quote
gixermark Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 thats an awesome photo there are some great photo's of the Jedi single seaters with 4 wheels off the ground in the clubhouse at cadwell.... now I'd like to try that Quote
