GINGESEIW Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 I have for sale a cherished reg number "M1 AKH" It is advertised on reg-transfers for £1650. Is anyone is interested here for £1200?? Cheers, Adrian.
GINGESEIW Posted March 20, 2011 Author Posted March 20, 2011 Many options? It was my late uncles plate (Andrew K Hinks) on a 1994 Pug 306
scott beeland Posted March 20, 2011 Posted March 20, 2011 Can't see it being worth a premium. I'm still trying to sell S13 VXT....to no avail
GINGESEIW Posted March 20, 2011 Author Posted March 20, 2011 Vivian Xavier Thomas, pretty common name..... I thought you'd of sold that in a flash!? I think with the one number (also being a 1) M1? Makes it more desirable? Reg transfers have offered £1250 return to me if they sell it. Have you had your plate valued (it's free to advertise with them).
DAVE O Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Vivian Xavier Thomas, pretty common name..... I thought you'd of sold that in a flash!? I think with the one number (also being a 1) M1? Mate had a K1 *** plate and was told by the reg companies it was worth £1500. He had it advertised for over two years and eventually let it go for a couple of hundred quid. Seems to me that they are only worth the money if somebody has approached the company looking exactly that number... Good luck hope you can prove us wrong
peterg Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 yeah that, I had a BMW 520 back in 1995/6 and that came with J1 BKT when I bought it and I had the same from a Reg sales company who left a leaflet on it in a car park, sent them the details and they said it would sell for £750, after 2 years it hadn't sold and the plate was still on the car when I traded it in 1999
RedditchJay Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 never, ever got into the personal reg thing...... who gives a monkey's whats on the car.... makes me laugh all these cheap Irish plates just to hide a vehicles true age....

scott beeland Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 I bought mine from regtransfers on a whim, when I had the VX220 Turbo. They have been advertising it for the best part of a year now (at a fair bit less than I paid) with no luck
