Thanks Hammy,

I will try it again. I think that problem could be in an inappropiate resistance from the level sender I have fitted. I will try with other models.

Anybody could tell me what's the stock sender from factory ?  (VDO ?......)

Thanks

Javier

Is it working at all?  ie giving the wrong readings rather than not reading at all?

With a sender/gauge mismatch you will normally get some reading, even if it is inverted.

If it is not reading at all your first stop is a wiring problem.

black / green is sender

black to earth

green to switched ignition

guage uses a VDO sender if i remember rightly. i had one fitted - it was pants (sorry, but too inaccurate and the LED's fall out of the black plate they are fitted into - care required)

i would check your earths first - fuse ok?

Green/black to sender, black to earth and green to +

Empty tank........all leds on

Full tank............. all leds on

Green/black to + , black to earth and green to sender

Empty tank.........Just a green led on

Full tank.............Just  the same green led on

I should replace my ATL sender. Probably the impedance is out of range.

i would guess the impedence is not matching. sure they use VDO senders. i had the same led one and changed it to a racetech guage - had to swap the vdo to racetech

black / green is defo the signal wire

black - earth

green - power [switched via ignition - you dont want it on all the time or it will flatten battery]
