For sale is my much loved westie.  its a 91 SEi (independant rear suspension with an escort diff in westifeld cast alloy diff carrier).  Arguably the lightest chassis produced by westfield.  I bought this car 10 years ago (almost to the day) and have loved owning it and it has evolved from the car I bought to the one I am selling.  Sadly though its the same old story, boy meets girl, girl produces children, boy buys boat, girl wants new kitchen...

As you can see from the pictures, the car has a full vinyl wrap with sharks and a few fishes.  if you are not a fan of the sharks (personally i think they are brilliant) then when bidding you would need to factor in a respray once the wrap is removed.  You might be lucky and find when the vinyl is removed the original british racing green gelcoat is okay, but I think this is highly unlikey.

The engine is vauxhall C20XE (aka redtop). It was built for me by a local mechanic in 2008 when I blew the old one up. I reused the head from my previous engine but the bottom end was all new. It has a coscast head, which has been ported, running long duration cams.  The engine has been dynoed at 215bhp.  It has enlarged pockets in the psitons, rings, bearings etc were all new in 2008 (less than about 6000miles).  ARP rod bolts.

The engine is dry sumped - great for running sticky tyres and ground clearance.  The sump pan and pump are made by Titan (I bought them second hand, but in very good condition in 2008). http://www.titan.uk.net/products/8/gm

The engine is fuel injected.  Ignition and Fuel is controlled by a megasquirt (this also outputs to a shift light and has a hard and soft rev limit programmed in).  There is a permantely fitted wideband lambda sensor. All manuals and wiring diagrams will be passed over with the car.  The injection system is GSXR1000 throttle bodies, using a custom fuel rail and PICO injectors (the standard suzuki injectors do not flow enough for 215bhp).  If you wanted to up the power then this setup is good for circa 250bhp.

QED lightweight steel flywheel - http://qedmotorsport.co.uk/qed-shop/vauxhall-xe-c20xe/flywheels new 2003

Polo Rad (nice and light) fitted in 2008.

Wunoff Repackable silencer http://freespace.virgin.net/wunoff.cpe/Repack.pdf new 2007

Protech Shock absorbers all round http://www.protechshocks.co.uk/products.htm new 2006

Quick steering rack NEW 2009

Custom made half doors, boot cover and tonneau.  This is a really fly bit of kit, the doors are curved aluminium which gives a lot more shoulder room than the standard door, the tonneau zips into the doors.  cost over 600quid back in 2005

Other bits and bobs - Sabelt 4 point harmess (date stamped until 2013). Strengthened half shafts. beefed up diff carrier. Westfield FIA roll bar. Sexy SPA mirrors.Nearly new Ferrodo DS2500 pads (much better than the Mintex 1144's that were in there before.) quick release steering wheel. Rally design gear lever extension and quickshift.  Playskool solid seats. KN Minilite style wheels (powder coated orange on 07).  Geometry laser aligned and corner weighted for my svelte 90kgs - without me but wet the car comes in around 535kg.

Just had an oil change, MOT until August (car is currently SORN'd)  this westie is ready to go and have a great summer with. You will not buy a quicker car for the money. will be sadly missed, but it must go, hence no reserve and sensible buy it now.  Car is in Durham and viewing highly recommended before bidding.

250quid deposit required within 24hours of auction ending via paypal.  Balance cash on collection.
