Evo,s 7SE Posted February 26, 2011 Author Posted February 26, 2011 as i am a bit thick when it comes to computers phones etc what do these apps do Quote
Norman Verona Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Shouldn't the question be "What apps do I need". How can we tell what someone else needs? On a recent trip to the UK I wandered into Carphone Warehouse. I looked at Aplles and Blackberrys with amusement. Priced at £350 to £450 I settled on a Nokia for £89. It has a sat nav built in and free to use. I can send texts, make phone calls, collect my emails and, if I ever get lost, find out where I'm lost. All for £10.21 per month. However my son, the geek, informs me it's crap as it has a crap operating system. My wife informs me it's crap because it doesn't fiorwarn of her current mood. Still, I'm happy and smug that I got what I needed for about 1/5th of the "good" fruit. Quote
Bob Green Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 Eloquently put and I agree. Funny thing; Life. As a kid, I used to get Apps on my lips during the cold weather and Apps on the inside of my thighs following a cross-country run where my balls used to rub. I never wanted Apps but these days’ folk will go to the end of the Earth to get them. Like I say, funny thing; Life. Quote
Major Stare Posted February 27, 2011 Posted February 27, 2011 as i am a bit thick when it comes to computers phones etc what do these apps do QuickPull (essential app)...........resets the phone, a bit like cleaning your PC up and rebooting it. Phone runs smoother. BeWeather....... Accurate 5 day weather forcast at just about any city in the world. PaternLock (intergrates with BeWeather)............ locks the phone to stop kids/SWMBO etc from accessing stuff Point........find business, cinema's etc eBay........ buy Westy bits. PayPal........ pay for Westy bits. BBC I Player.....watch TV stuff. There are loads of Apps, just depends what you want, have a look at CrackBerry. Quote
