XTR2Turbo Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 BBC 7pm Could be worth watching. Just before Top Gear Quote
pistonbroke Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Aye , tis a repeat but its fascinating stuff , Grahham was quite a character on and off the race track Quote
andyfiggy2002 Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 WOW graham hill followed by top gear, heaven, does any one remember his monster crash at watkins glen that nearly killed him, if that had happened today he would have just got out & smoothed down his overalls!!! Quote
Bob Green Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Years ago, I was fortunate enough to attend a function where Graham was the after dinner speaker. Even now, I smile at his humour. Quote
Fat Albert Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Even more years ago, as an early teenager, I was fortunate enough to play table tennis with Graham at Elstree aerodrome several times, he was an approachable, friendly helpful bloke who made a gawky lad feel good I later discovered that he was NOT like that on the morning of Grand Prix, he became unapproachable, short tempered and focused Top bloke mind, even if he had a wandering eye Quote
MrL Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 That was a cracking programme. Thanks to the OP for posting this up. Quote
Scottish Bloke Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Great programme, what a gent, and a real character. Not everyday you have three F1 legends playing about on a trampoline in your back garden, (four if you include Damon) how things have changed! Quote
John Loudon - Sponsorship Liaison Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 How many of todays F1 stars would fly themselves to events? Quote
