JeffC Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 when hunger strikes at silly o clock.... what do you reach for ? ? been through this for last couple of month on my diet, and not been allowed to munch after 6.00pm the best thing I find is to brush my teeth, works everytime takes the egde off and hunger pans when not on diet I normally reach for pringles or cheese and onion crisps with a garlic dip, this urge seems to be worse when having a drink Quote
dombanks Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 i find coffee works but tbh its probably any drink. if you are serious then eggs for breakfast or if you prefere something with high protein content is supposed to keep you less hungry for a longer period. the simplest way i have found not to graze is just to not buy it in the first place. if it's not there you wont eat it. RedditchJay Posted February 9, 2011 Author Posted February 9, 2011 we have only just finished off our xmas food {crackers / pickles / onions etc} so after loosing 20lbs before xmas i put 10lbs back on...... so.... back on the diet again.... lost 4lbs in two weeks so 6 or 7 lbs to go {the hardest part} Quote
stephenh Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Sun dried tomatoes in sunflower oil at the moment. Cheese and onion crisps, or pringles and dips, or anything with cheese in or better still anything with cheese and bacon in, when not on a diet! Quote
carpetstu Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 It depends on what munchie mood I am in Savoury mood - Olives in a decent oil are good with a few crisps maybe or a nice ham and salad sandwich. Healthy option mood -Some fruit Sweet mood - Harribos or chocolate Pudding mood - Winter .. sponge and custard Summer ... ice cream, or a cheese cake with nice summer fruits on top Not a lover of dehydrated food or processed rubbish so quick snack microwave stuff is a big no.. Mind as I skipped the microwave when I put the new kitchen it it would be pointless anyway Quote
RedditchJay Posted February 9, 2011 Author Posted February 9, 2011 Harribos................... and Tangtastics........... what a great invention Quote
