chazpowerslide Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 We got the kids a Nintendo DSi for Christmas and ever since they have been nagging me to look into sorting out some more games for them. They have said that you can download unlock code onto an SD card and then download free games. The code on the card reads/unlocks the game and the actual DS machine is not affected as the code/games are on the SD card. Can any of you chaps point me in the right direction on how to achieve this, I have had a quick look and frankly dont undrestand much of what I have seen. Chaz. Quote
Captain Colonial Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 A pity people can't buy unlock codes for kids to make them behave, eat less and make sense occasionally... Quote
chazpowerslide Posted February 6, 2011 Author Posted February 6, 2011 I tend to find a good un-lock code is a the good old clip behind the ear............... Chaz. Quote
a4gom Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 You can get a cartridge which looks like a game which you put a micro sd card in. The games go on the sd card. There are a few types around google r4 cart and you should find one. Make sure it's for RSI as the ds ones won't work. Quote
housebeautician Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Just buy them a new game you tight sod Quote
a4gom Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 They are very handy for running games you actually own on as you can fit loads on the memory card. We got one because I was sick of searching hotel rooms etc for little games cartridges. Quote
Pew Posted February 6, 2011 Posted February 6, 2011 Try r4ishopper.com these are the latest versions and compatible with all models and firmware versions. The r4i Sdhc version is the one you want.... Quote

lippydave Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Copied ontop SD a load of DSI stuff for a mate's daughter over the weekend. basically the dodgy DVD (usually bought at computer fair or similar), has a load of games plus a crack folder which is transferred onto SD card. My pal's daughter had paid a fiver for her dodgy dvd from a geezer at a car boot apparently! Quote
