cast iron Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Anyone else hear about the all party proposal for. "energy" rationing per person, as a way of controlling oil prices Quote
scott beeland Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 I love the fuel crises My job allows me straight to the front of the queue for my "ration" Price of fuel is becoming a f**king joke though Quote
dombanks Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 how is it supposed to work? we all only get a certain amount? i can just see it now, sorry boss i cant come in as my choice of not living in the s**t hole area near the royal hospital means i used my ration up. ill just stay at home now? this will end in tears. scott beeland Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Cheaper/ easier for me to get to The Royal using the train now anyway. Just a 20 min bike ride to train in the morning (which I admit, can be slightly offputting at 6am when it's p*****g down/ windy) and 5-10 mins up the hill from Lime Street Quote
s2k7 Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 why do we protect the gulf and let opec set the oil price? how many of our youngs will die to protect these azz ols http://tinyurl.com/4jtpxhz Quote

The American president wasn't very happy at a chap called saddam Hussain who decided he was going to trade his oil in Euro's. His country was invaded three weeks later looking for weapons of mass destruction Quote

America, no more policing the world & every man for himself! Quote
Norman Verona Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 No need to ration fuel in the sense of controls. The price will bring down sales. For what it's worth petrol prices in France are about the same as the UK. However Diesel is much cheaper. Quote
