DavidC Posted April 23, 2003 Posted April 23, 2003 To add my lot....I'm 23 in 2 weeks, building a SEiW with a 2.0 XE, 3 yrs NCD. Sureterm quoted me £341. MSM quoted me £470 BUT stressed that when I'm 25 it'll be £316. Footman James quoted £417. DC Quote
Turbowestie.co.uk Posted April 23, 2003 Posted April 23, 2003 and mine too.........................with Footman James, SEIW CVH Turbo 2001, Aged 30, (7 years NCD of which none is taken into account) £299 fully comp with 3000 miles limited mileage. Not a great deal but they quoted me for nat/asp CVH by mistake to start with for £196. Quote
neilwillis Posted April 23, 2003 Posted April 23, 2003 These prices are only relevant when you know the milage limits too. FJ quoted £152.00 for me and the missus, but that was for 1500 miles. If you want the max mileage they do, it shot up to about £800 IIRC. Worth bearing in mind when you get a quote. Quote
gav k Posted April 23, 2003 Posted April 23, 2003 £491 Fully comp With Graham Sykes I considered it to be a bit of a bargain since: I am only 23 years old (spring chicken I know! It is my only car (12k + miles per year) 2 years NCB 3 points #### of a lot cheaper than my last hot hatch and that was only TPFT.........perhaps they think Westies are old mens cars! Quote
TwinSpark Posted April 25, 2003 Author Posted April 25, 2003 Cheers guys, very helpful information. All I need now is the car ..... Quote
