Aren't automotive copper pipes actually Kunifer, rather than copper? We use the phrase copper, but I suspect it's a coloquialism...

Kunifer is fine and is the appropriate material for solid brake and fuel lines if that's what you want.

iv never had any problems with any copper brake lines or fuel lines - maybe the metal does react molecular level - but nothing noticeable
