NikUK Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Hi Does anybody know if anybody does a scale model of the Westfield. It can be Diecast, plastic anything really. Thanks Quote
Hammy Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 There are some Caterhams about ... Was this posted last yr ? Quote
Mark (smokey mow) Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 There's plenty of Caterham Models about from the likes of Minichamps, Vittesse, Onyx etc in 1:43 diecast. IIRC Kyosho do a 1:12 diecast Caterham too. I have a Vittesse 1:43 diecast S2 Lotus 7 in my collection and for plastic model kits Tamiya do one in 1:24 and 1:12 which with some creativity could be modified to look more like a westfield. I'm sure there's plenty of others (white metal etc) but afraid I know not of any Westfield Models. Quote

scott beeland Posted December 12, 2010 Posted December 12, 2010 The factory was on about r/c ones a couple of years back but never came to fruition I think the factory need to sort out a few areas of "focus loss" before they worry about r/c cars though Quote
ziplob Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Marks and spencers are doing a R500 remote control one for 19.50 right now in red, yellow , or blue and its a good model Quote
Wee Dov Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 Company called Mardave do a cateringvan at the moment ,and the owner of the company ,Chris Wilkinson told me at a recent radio control car race meeting that they were going to do a Westy ,I think from memory he said that Westfield had contacted him re doing a bodyshell to fit the Mardave model car chassis.
