wilsonch Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Rob Think of the batteries exactly like the ones in yer battery drill (assuming you have one) Nicad run full power for a while then slow power loss until its done Nimh runs full power for as long as it can then nothing. you wont need high output batteries like 4000mAh for starters. i would get at least a couple of packs as they will run out sooner than you expect. I am amazed that you can have them for less than a tenner....used to cost a fortune in my day. As to the charger would get one that charges using both 240V (mains) and 12VDC i.e from your car battery. If you are out and about this helps, theres nothing worse than no charged batteries. If you can find a 2500VP thats a good start. Chris Quote
Mark (smokey mow) Posted December 9, 2010 Posted December 9, 2010 Thought I had mentioned this.. oops It's a tamiya hornet kit... got everything else just needing the batteries and charger.. Ah the memories, I had one of those the first time around and still have about a dozen of the early tamiya's tucked away in boxes over at the folks from my days racing in the Eurocup. Quote
RobC Posted December 9, 2010 Author Posted December 9, 2010 There were other options but santa makes them and the black one is best... Santa list this year is massive... However Santa's gonna have to pick from this list other wise my cars never gonna be ready for next year Quote
