Liam Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 I once met a chap whose brother's wife reckoned she might have seen Swiss Jeff, but she wasn't sure. Quote
Rab (bombero) Reid Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Hmm, let's see - Alvin Stardust & Liza Goddard on top of Tai Mo Shan, HK on their hols. Russ Abbot and David Bowie at a hotel where I worked. Billy Connolly sitting on his trike outside his mate's house in Edinburgh. Princess Anne (twice - she's stalking me!) through my time with the TA. John Cleland at a family doo. ..nicest to talk to? Billy Connolly and Princess Anne .. oh and Russ Abbot because he bought me a pint! Quote

cast iron Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Jenson Button & Juan Pablo Montoya at the Brit GP both top blokes unlike Ruebens (its someone elses fault)Barichello Frank Williams when I went for an interview Colin Mcrae when he blasted me around the Nissan test track Johny Herbert when he drove the 350Z in Dubai and we were also staying in the same hotel. Tiffany Dell at the bradford classic Most of the cast of All Creatures Great and Small which was filmed on my Uncles Farm whilst I was on holiday there Quote
mikehreynolds Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Met Plato on a night out in oxford at the living room when I was at uni, top lad! Very amusing night. Quote
Uncle Fester Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Sylvia Kristel (Emmanuell film fame) had a small part in one of her films (not THAT part! ) Sir Frank Whittle, inventor of the jet engine. Met him when I was an engineering apprentice. Nice guy - proper British eccentric Prince Philip. Just as cantankerous you'd expect Gary Paffett (Brit DTM driver) Bollocked him for swinging off a tree and breaking the branches off when he was about 12! Quote
chazpowerslide Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 David Gilmour and Nick Mason from Pink Floyd. Lee Hurst. Rory Mc Graf (does not really count as he lives in Cambridge) Damon Hill & Muddley Talker (whilst filming "that" add at Pizza Hut) Nigel Mansell Jamie Oliver, his Misses and kids (shopping at Gap where My wife works) Frankie De Tori (shopping in Gap) VBH and Tiff at Stoneleigh. Jackie Oliver Roy Salvadori Stirling Moss Alan Mc Nish (Lots of other historic Motorsport folk) I'm sure there are more, it seems that half lifetime in catering brings in a few celebs. The Goodwood FOS and Revival are great informal places to meet famous motorsoprt people who are not adverse to standing around and having a chat. Chaz. Quote
RedditchJay Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 Chaz.... what about Tiff at Stoneleigh last year ? ? ? or was that only Adam who actually spke to him ? ? ? Quote
