dont buy all the famous person stuff tbh there just normal people at the end of the day just like me and you (but more famous)

what i like is all the people i have met through out my life that have made a mark on me and i will remember as long as i live and most of them i have met through the wscc :t-up:

i would name bleedin names but would be here all night  :durr:

Alvin Stardust & Liza Goddard on top of Tai Mo Shan, HK on their hols.

Russ Abbot and David Bowie at a hotel where I worked.

Billy Connolly sitting on his trike outside his mate's house in Edinburgh.

Princess Anne (twice - she's stalking me!) through my time with the TA.

John Cleland at a family doo.

..nicest to talk to? Billy Connolly and Princess Anne .. oh and Russ Abbot because he bought me a pint! :)

don't get anyone famous in Peterborough  :suspect:  - walked past joan rivers in LA a long time ago and also michael portilo down the strand earlier this year

have I spoken to anyone famous - umm no  ???

oh hang on I have met amd spoke  to Barry Fry - does that even count  :laugh:

Forgot to say - once had breakfast with Bobby Charlton after a corporate doo

Colin Mcrae when he blasted me around the Nissan test track

Johny Herbert when he drove the 350Z in Dubai and we were also staying in the same hotel.

Tiffany Dell at the bradford classic

Most of the cast of All Creatures Great and Small  :oops: which was filmed on my Uncles Farm whilst I was on holiday there

Met Plato on a night out in oxford at the living room when I was at uni, top lad! Very amusing night.

Sylvia Kristel (Emmanuell film fame) had a small part in one of her films  :D  :D  (not THAT part!  :p )

Sir Frank Whittle, inventor of the jet engine. Met him when I was an engineering apprentice. Nice guy - proper British eccentric

Prince Philip. Just as cantankerous you'd expect

Gary Paffett (Brit DTM driver) Bollocked him for swinging off a tree and breaking the branches off when he was about 12!

I'm sure there are more, it seems that half lifetime in catering brings in a few celebs.

The Goodwood FOS and Revival are great informal places to meet famous motorsoprt people who are not adverse to standing around and having a chat.

My name is peterg and I confess that I have slept with Mr Algar Sr and Mr Algar Jr....  :down:  well in the same motorhome anyway  :laugh:  and Mr Algar Sr has the loudest snore of anyone I ever heard  :bangshead:

Oh, and I have met SteveD and had a conversation with him but I'm trying to block that part of my memory out now  :p  :D

Oh, and met Piers Courage (1970, the year he was killed), Jackie Stewart and Frank Gardner all fantastic drivers  :t-up:
