O/T Monitor Cleaners Activity

We have a cleaner and we suspect she is not doing the hours we are paying her for. Does anyone know what equipment I need to monitor her activity?

My PC could have a webcam attached and pointed at the front door but would I need any particular software so I can monitor it remotely ie live feed, recorded, eail ?

I read about a guy who kept getting broken into and he had one that had a movement sensor which automatically emailed him the recording and subsequently nailed the thief.

Your thoughts please.

Simeon, If the job she does is OK and the house is cleaned to satisfaction then why worry if she finishes a bit early.

Our experience with cleaners is that if you get a good one keep her and don't worry too much about the odd 1/2 hour.

Thats the thing though. She's not brilliant and says we don't have her enough hours to do everything. All we ask her to do is hoovering and bathroom cleaning yet she never completes everything. Even me a bloke can do what she's paid to do does in less time.

I suspect she's from the minimal effort gang.

In a skimpy maids outfit, and take the day off when shes there to check that she does the right hours!

If you not happy then get rid, what good is monitoring her going to do, you confront her with the info you have an argument then you get rid??

Save the bother and get rid now...

P.S. How big is the house, how many hrs is she paid for?

P.S. ignor all this if she is a 6' Blonde with laage breasts and wears a skimpy maids out fit and just fit a ******g webcam NOW with a direct feed to this site! You'll easy make enough £££ to pay for the odd extra hr or two

theres loads of software out there .normally comes with the cams that will do what you want.

but you really want to see her using your tooth brush to clean her toe nails?

Okay chaps this is getting out of hand.

No she's not Russian nor blonde nor six foot. She's about five foot and pig ugly. She is however cheap and does not go round looking in drawers and cupboards, and she also gets on with the dog which a lot of cleaners won't do. I am reluctant to get rid of her but I think I need proof before I decide what action to take.
