dvd -> Ipod Touch

My 12 year old has bought himself an ipod touch with his birthday money and is quickly working his way through itunes cash like its going to disapear if he doesn't spend it.

Anyway the muppets's spent a fiver on a movie we already have on DVD.

I probably have some software which will convert a dvd to the relevant file type / size but I went through this before converting for my iriver and PSP and IIRC it took me ages to work out the best settings for the finished file and I think I had to use more than one piece of software to do it. (it was a few years back though)

Anyone recommend any software which is plug and play, i.e. stick dvd in press go and it produces a file which he can drop into his itunes libarary. It would be great if he could do it himself.

P.s. he's got the new ipod touch 4 if it makes any difference.

I use a programme called magic dvd ripper send me you email & I try to send it to you.
