Strangely enough I saw almost the same trick done in the pub about 3 nights ago by a mate. We knew he sorted the cards into order because we saw him do it a few minutes before the demo but still didn't figure why the cutting didn't spoil the sequence.

1.09 he twists his left arm the opposite way so it will rotate properly.   Check the elbow joint before and after

I have a deck of trick cards, If you put them altogether they are tapered so you can feel the where the cards are. Anybody not knowing wouldn't have a clue.

I'm guessing something like the cards are sorted at the start then put back into position as required. If you look as he deals he's constantly twisting the cards back. I'm probably wrong   , very good though.
