Pavlovs...........

Pavlovs research into dogs showed that if you rang a bell before feeding the dogs that the dogs eventually learnt that the  ringing of the bell meant food was coming and they started to salivate accordingly even before the food appeared. this was good science .

Now

Our guinea pigs have sussed that if the fridge door opens and they here a rustling sound, that they could be in for some lettuce, carrot, spinach or other treat , so they started "weeping"    weep weep,     weep weep almost singing and tweeting . At this point the wife then says " Aaarrrr the piggies are hungry"

My question to the WSCC massive is this ....

Are the guinea pigs showing the classic signs of Pavlovs dogs or have they trained the wife to feed them on demand  ???

Surely they're now £1.05 pigs, or even €1.15 (approx) swine. :p

... and back to the original question.   :p

This is a classic case of Pavlov's Piggies, ours exhibit exactly the same behaviour!  :D
