Crazy Eddie Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Too long without Westie and everything else keeps biting me in the bum so selling the "reason for divorce" as my wife calls it and would definately px for another Westie but thinking about CEC this time round, not sure though Any takers http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2008-CA....47720aa
Tigger Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 About time you came back to the wonderful world of westfield ownership, what took you so long
carpetstu Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Let me think? ..... Nah I will keep the Westfield No reserve on that auction Eddie?
RedditchJay Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 mmmmm nice,,,, but its not yellow enough for me x
Crazy Eddie Posted November 3, 2010 Author Posted November 3, 2010 Yeah well you have to try other things to see if the Westie did actually tick all the boxes No reserve - they are for girls! It's a tricky one because obviously this car owes me a fortune but is fast as anything but having gone through an engine it isn't as cheap running costs as I had hoped especially compared to the old blade. Will see what it goes for and of course if it even completes.
deanoecosse Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 "Total Build and Spec price has been over the £70k mark" OUCH! must be a seriously impressive bit of kit with 400bhp & 4wd tho. Can a Westy match up to that?
stephenh Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 It would be good to see you back in a Westie, Edd. Good luck with the sale.
perksy Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Somebody get it bought Ed can then get back where he belongs, in a Westfield
Cleggy the Spyder Man Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 that would make a very nice addition to Cleggys garage - lack of funds will not allow
Crazy Eddie Posted November 3, 2010 Author Posted November 3, 2010 "Total Build and Spec price has been over the £70k mark" OUCH! must be a seriously impressive bit of kit with 400bhp & 4wd tho. Can a Westy match up to that? Ouch indeed, hence SWMBO calls it, "the reason for Divorce" To be honest the Westie "feels" faster on the country roads etc because of your driving position and smiles per miles is similar - then of course the obvious one that a Westie would cost a tenth of this and even adding on the cost of a race spec Murtaya I would hope to have some change but depends what it goes for I guess. Have to be honest though it is b****y quick and puts my mate's 996 911 turbo to shame
Crazy Eddie Posted November 3, 2010 Author Posted November 3, 2010 Somebody get it bought Ed can then get back where he belongs, in a Westfield Cheers mate it always impresses me how you have avoided the, "I told you so"
