lippydave Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Reminds me of my old Staffordshire Bull Terrier (sadly missed :-( ).... lol @ doggie antics.. I used to have a Staffy cross labrador (Bonzo....as in Bonzo-dog-doodahband...) which I keft in my parent's custody when I left home ....(He lived a grand old life to nearly 18 yrs old!) He was daft as a brush and when my first daughter was 2-3 yrs old she used to tickle the dog and play with it to the extent that he just lay there as she prodded inside his nostrils! Soft as you like.. However, my parents had a postie who was a bit of an A***, and he used to taunt the dog pushing and pulling the mail through the letterbox to wind the dog up. They warned him to pack it in (the postie), but he was a persistent prat! One day Bonz decided enough was enough and as my parents had a front door with a lower glass pane he leapt straight through it at the postie, landing in the flowerbed.... My mom ran downstairs at the commotion and found the dog, hackles raised, growling teeth bared, covered in shards of glass with a terrified postal prat cowering against the wall.....Bonz was unharmed and it seemed to cure the posties bad habits too...
