RedditchJay Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 We only take the pee because we are all missing him...... and his fantastic V8...... hope he is at Stoneleigh next year again.... get more idea's from looking at his motor Quote
lippydave Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Adam, OK, so you have an OCD compulsion to make everything perfect and you like clever big pussies.... SteveD likes p*****g in showers and putting torqueless high revving bike engines into an obsolete, old-fashioned shell, drinking pina-colada and getting caught in the rain.... Different strokes for different folks mate. Premier League quality p*ss taking is part and parcel of this here forum, (thankfully), but equally thakfully this is a pretty malice free zone...... Don't take the hump over some harmless juvenile banter, it's part of what goes on here and makes it a fun place.... Yer own take on a Westie is thing to be marvelled at and although your super attentive zealous attention to detail is easy meat for P**s taking, it's also part of what makes yer car special..... Flouncing off stroppily is fer girls and BEC drivers IMHO... Come back and chuck a few grenades in of yer own....I like this forum for it's broad church of opinion and philosophy.....and the fact that I can always find summat on here that makes me chuckle.... Any forum is only the sum of it's contributors, and we have a slightly narrower viewpoint when members flounce off IMNSFHO..... Come back you big soft tart... Quote
Tim Reid Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I can understand why people can take a fence but PLEASE remember this is the internet, people easily say stuff because they are safe from meeting you, they often don't mean it but even if they did who cares? I can honestly say I have seen stuff like this getting out of contol and one guy lost his car over it (wrecked £8k's worth). Don't let things come to that. Lets all be friends and if you don't like someone use the "Ignore" button, it's there for a reason! Quote

Mid life crisis Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 adam do you walk your cat on a lead It's a Maine Coon so of course he does! as do we with our cat's. They will also fetch a ball. They are known to be a breed that do show almost dog like behaviour. And as to weight our big male now weighs 10.5 kg Google "Main Coon cats". Quote
Mark Stanton Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 QUOTE Google "Main Coon cats". oh no ......... now there's a word that needs to be left well alone Quote

echoz Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Never fail to bring a smile to my face this place thats a lovely looking dog dave, bet hes a wee softy tho as for this: QUOTE Flouncing off stroppily is fer girls and BEC drivers IMHO... oh how i laughed Quote
lippydave Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I have just had an mental picture of your dogs emulating feline behavior. The thought of a 62kg dog climbing a tree would certainly be a sight to behold. Lilly the Great Dane is the lightest of the trio and she regularly attempts to scale the large oak tree at the bottom of the garden in a vain attempt to catch squirrels. She can scale a 5ft fence virtually from a standing leap, and although she can't catch the squirrels, she has caught and beheaded a couple of slow witted wood pigeons in the garden..... However, they are all outwitted by the cat who lives at the end of the street....She's some valuable tiger lookalike thing owned by an old lady who only walks her on a stretchy lead..... The moggie takes great delight in sitting at the very end of the lead at the end of our driveway, just in the dogs eyeline.... The bit that makes me laugh tho, is that another neighbour installed one of those high pitched emitters to deter the cat from his frontage......When they're out the old lady lets the cat approach the tree on which it's mounted whereupon the cat takes great delight in clawing the bark off the tree..... A feat of cat training of which I'm sure Adam would be proud... Quote
peterg Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Can't see what renewing your membership and "paying to have the p*ss taken out of you" has got to do with it . . . . . . . . . . . . . I happily take the p*ss out of non-members too you know Quote
lippydave Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Never fail to bring a smile to my face this place thats a lovely looking dog dave, bet hes a wee softy tho as for this: He's a she.... She was still a pup there, and had some growing and filling out to do.... She's soft as s***e with kids, my 7 yr old lad can fall asleep with his head on her back, and she won't move a muscle,...but very defensive of family and property.... Had an unknown bloke ( a cheeky visitor), enter my open garage door unbidded, and you'd be amazed at how quickly a big dog can move and pin someone to a wall... Quote

adamnreeves Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 I do walk my cat on a lead outside yes. He is more behaved on the lead that a lot of dogs I see. He is over 7kgs and needs the exercise. Steve is right they do exhibit dog like behaviour but then he'd know this more than me, I just thought I got a freaky cat. He sits, gives me his paw and charges up to the window and growls at passer bys. He wimpers after me when I go out. For the record I also been known to wear pink coloured shirts in public also. Quote
adamnreeves Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 When I decided to have a few days off the forum I really had a bad day at work and prior to this had been up most of the night before doing shift based support and this was the last thing I needed really. My tolerance level was low. I then came back on and the banter was still going on. Thank you to those that made positive comments. I am glad to see things are back to normal. Quote
