Stone guard 3M protection film

Recommended Posts

I bought a Roll of the protection film off ebay and cut it to suit (made some templates up first using newspaper)

Used it to cover my Westfield arch protectors

Think it was the same stuff the TVR lads use to protect theirs from stone chips

Did you use a hair dryer to make it stick or just water and sponges?

I want to use in the rear cycle fender (stone guard) instead of the metal stone guard from westfield.

I'm worried it might not stick in the corner lip.

Thanks Perksy

Used Water applied by a Hand sprayer and then a credit card & soft cloth to remove any bubbles from under the film

Make sure its nice & clean under the film

Didn't wrap it right around the radius's on the arches

Tried to keep the shapes fairly flat/straight, otherwise it can start to get abit tricky
