davehall Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 I know this has been done a few times before but things move on quickly in tech world! I want a new Sat Nav. It's got to be easily moved from the TinTop to the Westy and back. I want European maps as well. So, what are the recommendations? I'm thinking TomTom 750 but am open to ideas. Quote

Asterix Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 I've got a TomTom that is now consigned to the cupboard for the time being. Am now using Google Navigate on the Xperia Mini phone and have also downloaded Waze so that I can try that out in future. Cradle for phone was £5 from t'interweb. Quote
jak Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Tom Tom for me too, been great. Bought it with UK maps, added European maps this year for French blat. Quote
Tigger Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Tried Navman, hated it with a passion, TomTom is the one for me. I currently have a TomTom "One" and it's never sent me off the end of a cliff yet .... much to Mrs Tiggers disappointment Quote

Dave Eastwood (Gadgetman) - Club Chairman Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Tom Tom app on an iPhone 3GS with the Tom Tom in car kit works really well for me. Especially with OS4 on the phone. Only shame is the iPhone 4 doesn't fit the docking cradle without a few mods Quote
