michael Posted February 8, 2003 Posted February 8, 2003 For what it is worth I am now with Adrian Flux and I WILL NOT be renewing with them Not happy at all Quote
AndyMoss Posted February 9, 2003 Posted February 9, 2003 Got build cover with Adrian Flux and they have seemed O.K - about £78 for £11K cover. What have they done wrong ? Need to know before upgrading to road cover with them - This assumes I finish building it one day Is it only poor customer service or do they have problems when you claim ? Quote
minghis Posted February 9, 2003 Posted February 9, 2003 They're not honest, they take monies via your credit card without authorisation, when you notice - they won't pay it back, if something between quote and acceptance changes they get all sh*tty and generally are quite horrible to deal with. They are incredibly patronising and have the ability to make you feel guilty for something you haven't done. It's as if they know that you having a Kit Car means that you will accept all this because you won't be able to get insurance elsewhere. This was my experience with them. They don't really want your business, they don't deserve it so simply don't use them - there are plenty more insurers out there. Quote

Al Yupright Posted February 18, 2003 Posted February 18, 2003 Interesting reading chaps, it seems HHH are the most popular. I'm with HHH currently, but shortly due to expire. My HHH renewal is 260quid (for 6000miles). However, Adrian Flux have offered me a policy for 400quid that includes unlimited trackday cover. Being as I did loads of trackdays over the last year, and relatively little road use, and this is only going to get more so over the next 12months, this is VERY tempting. Basically, if it was with anyone other than Flux, I would take it up, but I've heard a few bad opinions of Flux, before reading this thread which has only served to confirm this. So has anyone else got any recommendations for companies/policies which explicitly include trackday cover? I've tried Osbournes, and Competition Car Insurance. The policy Adrian Flux offered me was with Groupama. Does anyone know of any other brokers that offer Groupama policies? Ta very much, Al. Quote
