I have the classic all chrome not very bright lamps, but was wanting to convert to halogen.The bulb is in the glass sealed unit so I cannot just change the bulb.can I convert the old lamp casing if so who,where and of course how much??????

You can get some halogen light units that fit into the casing from Stafford Vehicle Components - I think there's an advert for em in Westfield World - mine cost £22 quite a few years ago with halogen bulbs  :D  ;)

Thanks mark.Checked there web site,just what I was looking for although it looks as though the halogen units they stock are still sealed? Hard to tell looking at pics.In an ideal world I was wanting to be able to change the bulbs to high powered ones. Either way ill give them a phone.

Those are 7" ones though. Don't all westfields use 5.75" (ie the H130s)?

Most of the newer Westys have 5.75's, but older cars had 7's fitted.

IIRC, if it has the smaller units supplied by the factory, they have halogen bulbs already......
