D Evans Posted February 3, 2003 Posted February 3, 2003 Have recently bought a 1990SEiW. I'm looking to remove the (rusty) rear wishbones to get them re- powdercoated. Not a problem apart from the fact that I can't seem to be able to get anything on to the nut at the lower forward mounting to lock it in place Any help or suggestions gratefully recieved Quote
george Posted February 3, 2003 Posted February 3, 2003 If yours is built like mine (and no two seem the same ), when you remove the seats, you'll find a rubber plug (about 2" diameter) near the floor / near the tunnel. Removing it gives access to the front mount of the lower A-arm. You'll also want that access for alignment as well as tightening when you reassemble. Enjoy. Quote
