Seat Leon 55 FR standard tyre size

Will cross post this.

Car in garage having other bits done, inside of front tyres too worn, need replacing. Garage has quoted an amount, I want to beat it.

Does anyone know the standard tyre size?

"Yes, mother, I should've checked" ;)

Ta wuv, am appreciating the instant response :t-up: ...will google shop...next question is does anyone have a recommend for good tyres (it's currently shod with Michelin Pilots and I don't want to go less grippy) or a recommend for a good (read "cheap") tyre shop?

Mine's the 225, definitely rings a big bell.

Just been looking for same size for memsahib's Civic.  Blackcircles got Kumho KH31 fully fitted for £71.63 each thought that was a good deal.

I put Nexen N6000's on my Leon last time and have regretted it ever since. I'm going for Uniroyal rainsports next, which I've used before and really like.

...is there an independant tyre review site on the web?

Found this but am not sure how objective it is.

BF Goodridge are michelin's by another name and a good deal cheaper, they grip and wear well and don't appear to suffer the cracking at the edges that some michelin do.
