Anyone have problems accesing this site over the weekend ? i couldnt access it from home on saturday or sunday it kept saying that the server was down !! is it just my pc ?? TIA

I accessed it a couple of times over the weekend and had no problems.

I remember trying to log on to the net early Saturday morning and not being able to get anything to load, but it was OK when I tried later. Sometimes happens with Freeserve.

Thank god, I thought I was the only one having problems.

Iv'e only been able to access the site once or twice over the last couple of days. I heard a whisper that they have changed servers but dont quote me on that.

Errr.....how did you manage to do that then,.....???

Surely this is simply to do with this:

http://wscc.ggr.net/cgi-bin....;t=5952

I haven't had a problem at all - some people might say "more's the pity...."

The website www.wscc.co.uk is hosted elsewhere  :arse:  :arse:  :arse:  :arse:  don't know for how much longer cos all our downloads don't work  :arse:  :arse:  :arse:

The boardroom is hosted at a different server by GGR - remember the boardroom is NOT all the WSCC website  ;)  :D  :)  and many save it separately as a favourite  ;)  :D  :)

;)....….just to prove that the world really is a surreal, celestial game. I couldn’t log on in the normal way either but, if I went to Hotmail I could log in via the WSCC generated email (or in my case many emails) wanting me to confirm my application to register. Far out, man.

I've been unable to connect from work all week.

There isn't an entry for the site on the DNS server or summat.

Its a conspiracy! I've just got my kit and feel stranded!!!!!!

Can connect from home though its still a bit flakey.......

Hopefullly it will sort itself out!!!!

Last week the the main site was down because the clubs service provider was doing a major upgrade of servers which they had loads of problems with.

The weekends down time was cause separately by the SQL Slammer virus affecting Internet Connectivity around the world, and in this case to our website. Microsoft - you gotta love em...

So far the boardroom has remained availiable directly by going to http://wscc.ggr.net.
