Can anyone tell me what car the mirrors for a standard body ( fitted to the windscreen pillars)come or are they unique to westfield. Also where can you get a vinyl cover that fits over the boot( sorry hole at back) I have an RAC type roll bar fitted

Thanks

My standard bodied car doesnt have any exterior mirrors :0 so I guess they could be aftermarket fitment.

As for the vinyl cover, do you have a upholsterer/trimming specialist local to you? Quite a few companys will gladly make you one to your design.

They are definately Rover parts.  I think that they come from a rover 200

......what car the mirrors for a standard body
They are Rover 100 (aka Metro) parts.

No, they're not....

If you have a narrow bodied car, they windscreen pillars either had no provision for fixing mirrors to them, or *very* possibly a late narrow body *might* have fittngs for an early Metro type mirror. The Rover 100 mirrors are only fitted to the much later windscreen pillars with the specific fitting moulded on............

And if its an earlier car they fitted Ford Capri mirrors ;)

Brian. Well they did on wide cars anyway

It's a  '93 standard body & the windscreen pillars are definately shaped to accept mirror. When I bought the car the screen had been removed for track use but the same mirrors had been fitted. From memory I think they are held on with 2 x M6 bolts. I think I'll investigate a set of Metro mirrors.

If they have a round type mount then they take the rover mirrors,  If the mounting point is below the bottom edge of the screen, where the pillar mounts to the body then it's the ford type, fitted to escorts, capris, etc..
