GuyH
Dad and Chris have a DL1 data logger. They've never really used it to its potential because actually getting any sense out of the data can be time consuming. It's easy to do when you get home, but you really need to see the data there at the track before the last runs. So I wrote them a little bit of software to make their lives easier. It does this by allowing them to see and compare their runs in no time flat. It only shows you the basics that you need to see, and is very simple. Got a DL1 too ? Care to try it ? Then clicky here to download it from their Marmy blog. [Edit: new version Saturday 2nd October] If it makes you slower don't blame me. (Windows only, sorry)

BigRuss
Works for me really well. Will definitely put it on my laptop as the full software is really fiddly with a trackpad. Will there be a new version after 1/9/10? How does it know what data to trim?
GuyH
Glad it looks like it will help. Yes there will be a newer version before the end of the month, just trying to make sure it works at the moment and tweaking things... working on Terry's problem as we speak. GuyH
It's very new Matt so might have all sorts of troubles. It was however built on a windows 7 machine and to be honest i've only had it running on 1 non-7 machine. PM me with some details if you're interested in getting it working. Terry Everall
Guy My computer runs on XP
Kevin Jones
What a great idea. Installed OK on two XP machines, but hangs (cpu busy) when I load log data. Happy to send logs if you have time to debug or I can do it myself if you are happy to share code somewhere. Would love to see support for DTA logs & the ability to tag and upload/download runs to the net so those that want to compare can.
GuyH
Yup, I found a problem with the parser when debugging with Terry's data which i need to fix. Please send data files to me and will take a look next week. Ta
