Hello all, newbie alert!

Hi all, I thought that after I've been lurking on here for a few months it was time to introduce myself and my new toy.

I picked her up in April this year, a year 2000, SEW 2.0l Zetec in blue. In fact I swapped my old 350z with a friend of mine who need something a little more practical for commuting.

Due to being busier than expected the past few month I haven't really had much chance to drive her yet, maybe only 200 miles or so. However we're off to Keevil on the 23rd with MSE, and then Castle Coombe on the 27th in order to really explore what she can do.

My local garage failed the MoT on emissions and a leaking shock last week, so it took me a little while to find a local-ish garage that know more about Westfields who are happy to give her a good once over at the same time.

I'm worried that I've already succumbed to upgrade-itus. I have been looking at carbon fibre seats, proper harnesses, a carbon effect dash, the DL2 display and possible a half roll cage (if such thing exists) as well as a plumbed in fire extinguisher and master kill switch.

The plan being that this will be a track day / fun car and a great reason to do more track days.

Looking forward to meeting some locals at a Cotswold meet one month, and attending some track days with other owners.

Welcome Rich,

Didn't take you long to sucumb to the upgraditis did it :D

Westfield's are great toys and if the track is twisty enough you will pass most things which can get a bit boring at the end of the day LOL

Enjoy
