Buzz Billsberry Posted December 28, 2002 Posted December 28, 2002 First of all Ivor well done in choosing the the best stead on the market plus an abosolute top motor club, who'll always make you feel welcome. This is the best place to get advice on your car, don't try for any advice remotely personal, as there is an evil under current of people in the WSCC who love to destroy you in the public domain You might think its just an innocent comment but there are spin doctors of beelzibub within the inner santum of the WSCC(The Winsford Chimera, drives a lotus, drinks Stella and abducted Kylie). Then there is the Speed Series Academy. This is where all the 'space cadets' hang out. A bunch of super heros who have an almost fanatical devotion to drinking, sorry, competing 'the Hill'. . If you do venture over to the darkside make sure that you are accompanied by an adult there are some peculiar people inhabit the Speed Series especially from Wales,Bingley and the South Good luck may the force be with you;) Buzz Quote

rob_castle Posted January 4, 2003 Posted January 4, 2003 I've just bought one, April 2002, the problem I had was 6 foot & the most important thing, size 9 feet.Ihad to by a wide standard feet dint fit a standard. Quote
Blatman Posted January 4, 2003 Posted January 4, 2003 What shoes were you wearing when you tried the narrow car out? What sort of pedal box did it have? I'm curious, 'cos I'm 6ft (just) with wiiiiiide size 10's (my race boots are 10 and a halfs.........), and my narrow car is plenty comfortable enough. It's never going to be roomy, but I've driven many thousands of miles in it in good comfort. I must say though that my wide car is equally comfortable, but with an MT75 gearbox tunnel, there's no more room in the footwell than the narrow car. If you have a type 9 gearbox tunnel (about 4" narrower than the MT75 tunnel, IIRC) then the wide body footwell is definitely on the roomy side by comparison. Quote
DodgeT Posted January 5, 2003 Posted January 5, 2003 think it must of been a "shrunken narrow", im 6'2 & size 10 feet & with my pedals at the most ridiculous point possible (still havent got round to adjusting them! i can squeeze (quite happily) into mine (pre-lit narrow) had you got wellies on? Quote
Turbo Tommo Posted January 5, 2003 Posted January 5, 2003 Yeah, me, 6'2" size 10 feet, no problem in operation of pedals. (when and in which order is another question......) Quote
catflap Posted January 5, 2003 Posted January 5, 2003 Yeh dodge but you did not tell em you have to lube yourself up to get in or is that just coz your pleased to see me OOO CHEEKY BOY!!! Quote
